ADHD TALKS
Most pre/post-diagnosed people have absolutely no idea what ADHD actually is or what causes it.
Most people just see the hyperactivity, impulsiveness and inability to focus. In reality the ADHD brain is wired differently and develops at at later stage. There are impacts on hormonal regulation of dopamine that impacts motivation and can bring big highs and lows.

Even during the diagnosis process there's limited ADHD education and very little support to help you day2day. Work places and education centres also have very limited knowledge about ADHD....but by understanding why some people behave a certain way can be crucial
for driving productivity.

Once people better understand what causes ADHD, it's like a light bulb moment - finally you understand why you feel and behave the way you do. With a few lifestyle tweaks you can start to manage your dopamine levels more efficiently and start to work with your ADHD instead of against it.
